Today I decided to take Shinku with me to work ^^: Ive been wanting to take some pictures of the dress that Lehni made for her, and since I'm always at work when its nice and sunny I thought I would just take the shoot there ^_^

After the trek all the way to Questacon though, the weather took a turn for the worse and I ended up having to take the shoot on a couch in the office ^^:

This is the first dress that lehni has made for Shinku, and I think it came out beautifully!

It was also really fun to take her into work and get all the amusing looks and responses from people ^_^ (you would be surprised how many people when they look at shinku immediately go for an up-skirt shot O_O;) Poor baby girl.

Such a lot has happened in my life since I got my first BJD Shinku, Ive left university got a full time job and moved all the way across the continent... and now that I am settled down again, I think its time to return to the hobby, and about time I made another addition to the family.

Here she is:


Shes a tiny fairy Xiao ^_____^ and Shinku and I are very excited, even though we have no idea what to name her yet ^_^;


Also Miss Lehni made Shinku a beautiful new dress! (sorry about the picture quality, I still haven't figured out this new camera ^^:



I was so excited to see her in something new after all this time.

Anyways, hopefully someone is still reading this journal despite the huge gap in posts T_T and if not then at least Naoki chan can see Shinku's new dress ^_^

This is the first of a couple of admitedly very late posts.. ^^;
A week or so ago, I took SHINKU on a shopping trip to Hong Kong.. mostly to visit dollheart and avoid paying horrible amounts of shipping ^^:

We were there for three days, of which we spent the better part of one in the shop itself, and the other bits looking for it. ^^:

I even ended up getting a membership card for the store, which is currently with my contact in HK, hooray for discounted dolly shopping in places you dont live.

.. That arrived today ^_^ Its made by Reve en Poupee I think they did really well ^^

So I just got my custom wig preview pictures from Reve en poupee, I think they did a really good job on this one.

I realise that a few of you guys wont know what Im on about with the 'Juri hair' thing.. so I decided to post a reference picture.. then realised most of my Juri images are fan-art..

Last weekend Mamma Lehni and Mamma Juri took me to my first Gengis-con ^_^

All in all I very much enjoyed my first con.Mamma Juri says that I will get to go to another one in March,so I am looking forward to meeting more new friends.I would like thank Aunty Cindy for helping me to type this entry.She is very kind when she's not falling asleep.

I couldnt help myself.. she was just there, and I was cooking ^_^

After the shoot, Shinku had a hard time letting go of Binky!


Miss Shinku and Mama Juri would like to say a big Thankyou to Miss cynthia, Binky, ko-neko bus, totoro and cynthia's front garden in that order.

Yesterday my AR dana arrived!
I set up the camera.. got the scissors, started to open the box.. only to find my poor baby was a one eyed-amputee!

On another note this is my attempt not to flood my regular LJ account with BJD ranting, although I may post images over there too occasionally.
